We left early Friday morning on the Thalys, which is a high speed train that runs from Amsterdam to Paris. Unfortunately, you really only travel at high speeds (200 mph) from just outside of Brussels to Paris. The Dutch have built a high speed rail; but during the testing of the rail line learned there track doesn't support the high speed trains after all! So we had a 3 hour train ride to Paris. Greyson was well-behaved for about 2 hours and 45 minutes. (It felt like the last 15 minutes of the trip lasted an eternity.) We bought Paris Metro tickets that gave us unlimited travel for 3 days. It took us a bit of time to figure out where we were headed (in part because Greyson was still being a little monster:) but finally were on our way to our hotel to drop off our bags and then head to Disneyland Paris to celebrate Greyson's birthday.

The train stop for Disney is right at the gate, which was very nice. Disneyland Paris seemed to be much smaller than Walt Disney World. The best part was that it wasn't crowded!! I think the longest we waited was 15 minutes. Disneyland was nice; but it definitely lacked the "magic" of Walt Disney World. They have a lot of the same rides. Some were better than the one in Orlando and some weren't. After spending several hours there, we walked to Disney Village (there much smaller version of Downtown Disney) to have dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe. After dinner, we hopped back on the train and headed to our hotel.
