Greyson prepares for a summer in Holland

Greyson is headed to Holland! His dad works for a Dutch company located in Schiedam, a suburb of Rotterdam. Greyson thought that Rotterdam would be too big of a city, so his dad decided that Delft would be a good place for Greyson to live and have fun! Delft is a typical Dutch town with a center market and beautiful canals. People often refer to Delft as a little Amsterdam (minus the coffee shops!). Delft is famous for being the home of the painter Johannes Vermeer, Anthony van Leeuwenhoek (the father of microbiology), Delft Blue Pottery (Delftware) and the Technical University of Delft.

Greyson (along with his mom and dad) will be living in the center of Delft, one canal over from the central market (Markt). They plan to arrive on April 30th and will begin posting pictures and stories as they explore Holland!!!
